Today I was soo sore! hahaha but, sore is a good thing :)
I’m a nanny, so today I worked from 7am-5pm with the kids/cleaning/running around, but I still managed to stay on track with the healthy eating, and even got a workout in once I got home! The house I nanny at is FULL of unhealthy food temptations, but I stayed strong :)

I did some leg workouts, but didn’t really commit. I went to the store after work and picked up two 10 pount weights, so starting tomorrow, I can really start be be on track. I finally have all of the equipment and food to go full force.

Today I started my journey to getting fit!
Last night I went grocery shopping and stocked up on a lot of really great ingredients. This morning I prepared a ton of ingredients for my lunches so that I wont have to chop veggies, etc every day. It definitely makes eating healthy a lot easier to stick to! It’s easy to go grab a bag something unhealthy, because it doesn’t take preparation. (most people don’t make their own candy bars! haha) So, now when I go to have lunch, my lettuce, tomato, onion, and chicken is all prepared and chopped and all I have to do is put it in my bowl! So easy :)
My lunch today was:
After lunch, I did the chest & back P90X DVD along with the Ab Ripper X P90X DVD. I then had a vanilla protein shake. I felt like one of those massive bodybuilder guys drinking it hahahaha
Today was difficult work out wise, but I have faith in myself! This was only the first day, so I shouldn’t expect myself to be a pro already. I don’t see eating healthy as something I’ll struggle with, so that’s not worrying me at all. I feel like changing my eating habits alone will drastically change my body. I’m going to continue with the P90X DVDs, but I’m going to be using them more as a guide to proper form, good exercises, etc. I don’t have tons and tons of weight to lose, I just want to tone up. I definitely don’t want to look like a body builder in 90 days either. I just want to be a healthier version of what I am now. I feel like eating healthy along with weight training and some cardio, I’ll see the outcome I am looking for.
:)
